Melville golf course with its combination of twisting fairways and strategically placed greens and bunkers, makes for a nine-hole golf course with a big 18-hole feel.
Just ten minuets from Edinburgh, lying in the Esk Valley, with the Pentland Hills as a spectacular backdrop, the courses gently eases you in with a par three at the first tee, but don't be fooled. The second with its slopping dog's leg to the right soon puts paid to any complacency.
From there on in, Melville Golf course offers all the enjoyment and challenge that will stretch your knowledge to the limits in the true tradition of the game. It is particularly suitable for the ladies, as it needs a degree of skill. For those without equipment, a full hire service is provided.
Melville Golf Range, you will find our floodlit driving range to be more than convenient with its spacious bays and cleverly placed targets. You can either purchase one of our regular user cards, which give you useful discount. Open from early in the morning until well after the sun goes down, you can practice to your hearts content. Our practice putting green with a large practice bunker alongside is conveniently situated beside the driving range.
