Langlands Golf Course is located two miles South of the Town Centre of East Kilbride in a country setting beyond the southern residential and industrial fringes of the town. Access is by country road (off the A726) and there is, at this time, no public transport direct to the course.

Opened in 1983 this covers former agricultural land is presently quite open and only small stands of mature woods provide shelter and interest and for this reason, much planting has taken place and will continue to take place to provide shelter belts and obstacles in the future.

Langlands Golf Course covers some 60 hectares and is a 6202 yards, par 70, 18 hole golf facility, this course has broad expanses of fairway and is currently less demanding on the skills of new golfers and is maintained at present to permit a rapid throughput of casual golfers.

The Starters Office is located adjacent to the First Tee and in addition to providing a seven day advance booking service, offers a small section of retail goods such as confectionery and golf accessories.

Changing and toilet facilities for the general public are also available in this area.
