| 18 holes, 5968 yards, SSS 69. The Glasgow Golf Club was the first in the west. The headquarters is at Killermont in the city, where a private and exclusive course is beautifully laid out in parkland round the stately house. Members may also play at Glasgow Gailes, an exposed links course some miles down the Clyde coast. The Tennant Cup, one of the oldest Amateur stroke-play tournaments, is now a 72-hole event with two rounds over each course. |
