Located just a miss hit 7 iron from the famous Old Course St Andrews. The Sporting Laird a small privately owned establishment would be delighted to have you stay.

All our rooms are named after Scottish Isles and have been recently refurbished, shown here is the Skye Room. All have private bathrooms with showers and include colour TVs, telephones, hairdryers, heated towel rails, coffee/tea making facilities and much much more! Some rooms have sea views over St Andrews Bay. (If you are lucky enough to be here in August, watch for the dolphins!).

Ground Floor golf storage and drying room is provided, as well as daily laundry and dry cleaning services.

Added in 1999, the Laird's Championship Suites are a popular addition to the hotel. Two are named after our favourite golfers - who else? Arnold Palmer and Seve! The third has yet to be determined. The Suites offer larger, more spacious accommodations, furnished to the highest standards. They include kitchenettes and are ideally suited for those who are on an extended stay or those who want a bit more of the comforts of home while travelling.

The Hotel has a lovely walled garden with roses, lots of flowers, fresh herbs for the kitchen, along with apple and plum trees and a number of our feathered friends. After the open July 2000 our residents putting green will also be available.

All prices are inclusive of UK taxes and a full Scottish Breakfast served daily in Kate's - or the garden if weather permits! We have been told that we have the best breakfast in town...come and see for yourself!
