    The Lomond Hills Hotel has twenty - five bedrooms all en suite, with direct dial telephone, colour television, radio, hair dryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities.

    The Lomond Function Suite is completely self contained, with bar and cloakroom facilities, and caters for conferences, receptions and other functions from twenty to two hundred people.

    Other facilities include a sauna, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi together with changing rooms and a terrace. Outside functions are also catered for.

    This 10 bedroom hotel was established established as an Inn in 1738. As it is positioned in the square opposite the Townhall and next to the Registrar, it has been the centre of village life through the ages.

    Local farmers used to sell their cattle and other goods on the market square. More recently, Scottish Television has used the town for the filming of "Dr Finlay", as the buildings and country - side have not changed much over the years.

    The bedrooms have modern comforts, including "en suite" facilities: radio, colour T.V. telephone, tea - maker, hairdryer and trouserpress, in - house movies and Sky satellite.
