The Hazelbank is a small family run hotel overlooking St Andrews Bay only a drive and a wedge from the 18th green of The Old Course and yet only 5 minutes walk from the University and historic town centre. The ancient castle and cathedral, the picturesque harbour and the modern East Sands Swimming and Leisure Centre are al within 15 minutes walk. Whether you visit St Andrews for golf or just to savour the peaceful historic beauty of the city, The Hazelbank Hotel is ideally placed.All of our 10 rooms are en - suite with bath or shower, wash ahand basin, toilet, colour television and tea making facilities. The hotel is fully insured and has been passed by the local fire authority. Rooms are a mixture of doubles, twins and family rooms, four of which have superb views across St Andrews Bay to the Angus Coast and beyond.
One ground floor room is available for those who would find stairs difficult. Children are welcome, rates by arrangement, baby sitting usually available. We are open all year except mid December to mid January.
Given adequate notice, we can try to arrange tee times on local courses for you, both in St Andrews and others such as Crail, Elie, Lundin Links, Scotscraig, Carnoustie, Rosemount, Downfield and Ladybank.
