Burness is a family run guest house. Built around 1830 it still holds most of its original features but has been transformed into a 
welcoming guest house, close to all amenities. The bedrooms though varying in size are all well decorated and en-suite, offering colour television, hospitality tray, clock / radio and many thoughtful extras.
The beautiful combined lounge / diningroom is very spacious, and comfortable with a big log fire burning in the winter months when golf can still be enjoyed (with no winter greens !). Most guest like to meet here in the evening and over a wee dram, discuss our pars, birdies and without laughing, eagles. A delicious breakfast is served at individual tables with a wide and varied menu to suit your requirements (what is not there Heather will be more than happy to buy in for you ) please never forget to ask ! For those early morning golfers a full breakfast will still be on offer.
There are a selection of miscellaneous services that we can offer. We have a secure golf equipment cabinet that is available to all guests. There is also a pay phone for guest use. We also offer exclusive golf packages organised through a company called MRM.
