The Clubhouse
A converted farm cottage has fairly basic but adequate facilities. There is no catering or bar but a kettle is provided together with all the necessary items for making tea or coffee. There is also provision for the parking of a limited number of touring caravans.

The course is generally not too busy so as this is a pay and play course, just turn up, pay your money, sign the book and off you go !! There are clubs for hire and small items of equipment for sale, tee pegs etc,

The course has been laid out on agricultural land and the greens are not specially built, but to compensate, winter cups are provided. The fairways are in excellent condition and provide a good base for your fairway woods to the greens. This course is not just a par 3 pitch and putt track, there are some good long holes and when the wind blows, it is certainly difficult to reach the greens in regulation. Situated near the Solway Firth, there are some great views to be had of the surrounding countryside and the Lake District hills.

The course is an interesting test of golf, particularly for the higher handicapper.
