Situated only minutes away from the great championship links of Royal Troon and adjacent to Lochgreen and Darley, Fullarton at slightly less than 5,000 yards, provides endless enjoyment for golfers of more modest ability or golf societies looking for a testing morning warm-up round.Fullarton is an exposed links-type course, with narrow, undulating fairways generally flanked by heather and gorse. The longest hole is the 1st at 434 yards. Of the others there are six par 3 holes demanding great precision and accuracy. The 14th requires a carry of some 150 yards from the tee to the fairway over marshland that awaits any miss-hit drive.
