The 18th hole Welcombe Golf Course has recently benefitted from an intensive period of lavish attention. An extensive fairway watering system now ensures lush green fairways, and greens run fast and true. the last three holes are especially noteworthy. The 16th is a superb par 5 slight dog leg right, while the 17th requires a full carry over a picturesque lake. the 18th provides a reasonably gentle par five finish for the weary golfer impatient for the friendly, fully refitted clubhouse.
