For more than 70 years golfers in the Midlands have enjoyed the tranquillity and friendly company of Melton Mowbray Golf Club.

Situated a little more than a mile from the centre of the historic market town - famous for its Stilton Cheese and traditional hand raised Pork Pies - the course offers players of all standards a challenging but fair test of golf across gently undulating fairways set amidst rolling Leicestershire countryside.

Straight hitting and careful course management will always be rewarded here, as will a deft touch around the closely guarded but receptive greens. Long par fours at the 2nd, 8th and 10th provide a test for the big hitter - whilst shorter holes such as the 3rd and 14th can yield a par or even a birdie chance to the more accurate player.

After the 14th, the closing holes skirt the far boundary of the course, until you reach the 18th tee - where two good shots take you back towards the clubhouse and the chance to end the round with an extremely satisfying par!

From the 18th green step straight into the friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse. A chance to recall those high spots of the round - perhaps over a convivial drink or two - and to sample the excellent fayre provided by our resident caterers. As well as a bar menu, full catering is available on request.
