Glen Gorse is a most attractive parkland course of 6648 yards off the medal tees with a par and S.S.S. of 72

The course provides and excellent test of golf, and several strategically placed mature trees will mean that the straight hitter is rewarded: but even he may have to adapt his skills to cope with ridge and furrow lengthwise on the 2nd and 3rd holes, and across the fairway on the 10th, 14th and 16th.

The picturesque countryside is enhanced by four ponds on the 6th and 7th holes, and all four par threes are well guarded with bunkers and demand accuracy. As you turn for home you are faced with three tough par fours with the last tow each measuring over 450 yards in length.

After your round there is a gentlemen's stud bar (with colour TV) for those who need a quick refresher before showering and changing. The main club room is very large and tastefully furnished, comprising an attractive bar offering a wide and varied choice, with mixed casual bar and lounge areas. These in turn lead to a superb patio overlooking the first tee, eighteenth green and putting green.
